Business financing

Business financing you can plan around

Apply once, in about two minutes. A funding specialist at our funding partner shows you what your business qualifies for, with the full cost written out. There is no application fee.

  • No application fee
  • No obligation to accept
  • About two minutes

The application is the way in, and it takes about two minutes.

The terms, in plain words

Six words that decide what an offer costs

Every offer is written in the same handful of terms. Know them and you can compare two offers on one page. Here they are, with the question to ask about each.

Reading the offer line by line, before anything is signed.
Interest rate

The price of borrowing, stated as a yearly percentage of what you still owe. As the balance comes down, so does the interest.

AskIs this the APR, and are the fees counted in it?

Total payback

Every dollar you will hand over, from the first payment to the last: the amount, the cost and every fee. It is the one number that makes two different offers comparable.

AskWhat is the total, with every fee included?

Fixed or daily payments

A fixed payment is the same sum on the same date, usually monthly. Daily or weekly payments are drawn from your account on a set schedule. Some advances take a share of card sales instead, so the amount moves with the till.

AskHow often, how much, and what happens in a slow week?

Term

How long you have to repay. A longer term usually means a smaller payment and a larger total. A shorter term is the reverse.

AskWhat does the total come to on a shorter term, and on a longer one?

Prepayment

Paying it off early. On a loan charged by interest, that usually saves money.

AskIf I pay early, what exactly do I save? Is there a penalty?

Origination fee

A charge for setting the financing up, often a percentage of the amount. It is frequently taken out before the money reaches you, so what lands in the account is less than the headline.

AskIs it deducted from what I receive, and is it in the total payback?

These are general meanings. The agreement you are offered is what governs, so read its own definitions before you sign.

How it works

Three steps, and no surprises in any of them

The application is short. The reading is where the care goes, and you are not asked to do it alone.

Step 01

You apply

The amount, how to reach you, and a few facts about the business: how long it has run and roughly what it takes in. It takes about two minutes.

  • No application fee
  • No documents to start
  • Nothing is agreed by applying

Step 02

The offers are laid out

A funding specialist at our funding partner puts your application to lenders in the network and brings back what they offer. Each one is set out the same way: amount, term, payment, total payback.

  • A network of 80+ lenders
  • Every offer in the same format
  • The total cost on every one

Step 03

You choose, or you don't

Pick the offer whose payment fits your month, or decline them all. Once you accept and the lender approves, funds can arrive in as little as 24 hours.

  • No obligation to accept
  • The payment known before you sign
  • Funds in as little as 24 hours once approved

The six

Six kinds of business financing

Each one is built for a different job. The figures are the network's published ranges; your own offer depends on your business.

What steady means

The financing should be the part that behaves

A business has enough that moves: sales, staff, suppliers. The money you borrow should not be one of them.

The payment first
Before the rate, before the amount: what comes out of the account, and how often. That is what the month has to carry.
The total in dollars
Not a percentage you have to decode. The full payback, written as one figure.
The same layout for every offer
So you can put two side by side and see the difference without a calculator.
No charge to you for any of it
No application fee and nothing up front. The funding provider pays when a deal closes.

The network behind the application

The lending network's own figures

80+lenders in the network
25,000businesses funded
24 hrsto funding once approved

These are the figures of the lending network our partner works with, not of Solid Business Financing on its own.

The application

Know the payment before you sign

The application is at the top of this page and on its own page. Two minutes to fill in. Nothing is agreed until you accept an offer.
